Like most electronic devices, reset is necessary from time to time for desk to work properly and most issues get resolved with a reset. However, resetting a desk involves more than just a power-off and power-on.

For desk with control box model #DYH-014B or DYH-014 (Approx. manufacture date 2016 to present), unplug/re-plug power cord, then press/hold BOTH UP and DOWN buttons and release both when 000 starts flashing. The desk will first go all way down, then all the way up, and finally comes to a stop at mid-height. The reset is complete when the control panel displays the current height 38 (+/- 1).

Note: The Elite 71", 60" and the Flex Series share the same reset procedure they share the same lifting mechanism.

If an error code appears on the control panel during the reset, switch cables (pointed by red arrows) from control box and attempt another reset. If the reset is still unsuccessful, please take a note of error code to see if it remains the same or has changed. Report error code(s) and provide a copy of your purchase receipt to support@apexdesk.com for further assistance.

HOW TO PROGRAM PRESET HEIGHT

You can preset up to 4 positions. Use UP and DOWN arrow buttons to move desk to your desired position. Press M plus one of the number buttons together for 1 to 3 seconds until displayed height starts blinking, and then release the buttons. To go to your preset height, simply press the number button TWICE or press and hold the button.

For desk with control box model #DYH-08B (Approx. manufacture date 2015- early 2016. Discontinued and replaced by DYH-014), unplug/re-plug power cord, and press /hold DOWN button ONLY. Don’t release the button until reset is complete. This link https://goo.gl/Cn1rZj  is a video of reset. For demonstration purpose, the video only shows one lifting column during the reset process. BOTH lifting columns must be connected to the control box when resetting.

As you can see from the video, the lifting column travels all way down to the lowest position, backs up slightly and stops. That completes the reset process. If the problem persists or you hear clicking sound when UP or DOWN button is pressed, please provide a copy of your purchase receipt and email to support@apexdesk.com for further assistance.
